Living in the countryside it is easy to assume that our air quality is better than in the city, but the reality is that Waltham Chase and Swanmore frequently suffer from pollution. Unfortunately air quality monitoring coverage in the UK is sparse. The SWaCS air quality monitoring is an initiative to collect reliable local data and raise awareness of the issue.
