Save Our Tips Protest

Many residents are concerned about plans to shut tips across Hampshire.
On Monday 14th October, Hampshire County Council will be making the decision about whether they close our local tips.
We know that the combined effect of plans to close tips in Alresford, Bishop’s Waltham and Fair Oak will be a disaster for our communities.
This will force local people to make longer journeys, impacting the environment, and only lead to more fly-tipping and less recycling.
The protest will take place outside the Bishop’s Waltham tip on Claylands Road at midday Saturday 12th Oct.
The protest is being organised by Jonathan Williams, City Councillor, Bishop’s Waltham
