Here at SWaCS one of our team had a leaflet posted through his letterbox and those of his neighbours from two primary aged children worried about climate change and asking what the adults were doing about it.

With this in mind and feeling a bit challenged, we’re extending an invitation to our local communities to join us in a conversation about community energy. What is it? What might it look like here? And, most importantly, how it could impact our carbon usage by switching from fossil fuels to renewables.

All these questions and more will be answered at the Future Energy Landscapes workshop run for us by Energise South Downs, a non-profit that sets up community energy projects in this area.
